Veber Optics Scope Pneumatic II 3-9X40 AO RG

Veber Optics Scope 3-9X40 AO RG is Russian Brand Scope, Veber Pneumatic sight II 3-9X40 AOE RG Optical sight, magnification 3–9x, lens diameter 40 mm, parallax adjustment AO (on the lens), multi-layer coating of all optical elements, lens hood, 11 mm dovetail rings included, adjustable red/green illumination of the aiming reticle, for pneumatic weapons with muzzle energy up to 25 J, crossbows, airguns, airsoft/paintball weapons.

Veber Pneumatic II 3-9x40 AOE RG is a new generation high-aperture sight for powerful air rifles with shot energy up to 25 J. Can be installed on crossbows, airguns, airsoft and paintball weapons.

The optical elements are fully multi-layer coated, which provides a bright, high-quality image without distortion. The light transmission of the sight is >85%, so the picture will be contrasty even in low visibility conditions.

The one-piece body made of anodized aircraft aluminum is resistant to adverse external influences and protects against the penetration of dust and moisture into the sight.

An eyepiece with a thin edge is comfortable for the shooter: he sees the image in the sight without unnecessary details, since the edge of the housing around the lens is almost invisible. To adjust to individual vision characteristics, use the diopter adjustment ring on the eyepiece, which rotates smoothly, with measured force. Near the eyepiece there is a ring for changing the magnification of the sight.

Eliminating parallax (displacement in the field of view of the target and the reticle relative to each other) increases the accuracy of the shot and is performed by focusing the lens. Tuning is carried out at distances from 10 to 150 yards (from approximately 9 to 137 m).

Retractable adjustment cylinders with embossed covers allow you to adjust the sight without taking off your gloves in the cold season. Corrections are made with the drums fully extended. The mechanism's graduation rate is 1/8 MOA at a distance of 100 yards (about 3.75 mm at 100 m). The drum clicks are clear and clearly distinguishable. To reset to “0,” the zero mark on the drum is aligned with the mark on the scope body, then the screw in the drum cover is tightened using the hex key included in the kit.

The special reticle is a variation of the Mil-Dot reticle extended down the y-axis for use at longer ranges. Designed for the characteristics of shooting from pneumatic weapons and takes into account the ballistics of the shot. The reticle is etched onto the glass and is located in the 2nd focal plane of the sight. Its size does not change when the sight magnification changes. There is a non-dazzle red/green arrow illumination of the reticle crosshair.

The 70 mm lens hood protects the lens from flare and hides the glare caused by the lens itself. The inner surface of the lens hood is ribbed and effectively reflects light. Perforations reduce the weight of the hood while maintaining the balance of the scope.

The locking rings on a flat base are designed to mount the scope on an 11mm dovetail rail. Secure to the body with 4 steel screws. The mounting height of the sight is 27 mm.

Spring caps protect the objective and eyepiece lenses from scratches and dirt. They are easy to open with one finger and convenient to put on and take off if necessary thanks to the wide elastic cuffs.

Note:

Blank shots from an air gun can destroy the optics of the sight mounted on it;

Before installing the sight on a new weapon, you need to fire 20–30 shots to remove any remaining factory lubricant in the barrel bore. Otherwise, due to evaporation of the lubricant during firing, the shock load on the product will exceed the permissible value and damage the sight.
